This Producers' Group is formed by the women trained
under the Irish Concern project.
They are about 300 women, organised in 9 groups. They run their own saving
scheme.
A group of four is in charge of the organisation, quality control and
administration.
Their products are coloured baskets, table mats and american sets made
by "mele" (a kind of grass grown by farmers and normally used to prepares
floor mats), by bamboo or "kochuri" (an other kind of grass which grows
in water ditches).
