It is the group organised by Angela Gomez, giving the chance to "learn how to survive" through various activities to as many as 30.000 women, widows, divorced-abandoned, or simply struggling to stay alive.
A section of this group (about 750) is specialised in handicraft. Given the opportunity, many other members join this activity. This handicraft sector is run by 12 women.
Their products are embroidered saris, nokshi kantha pictures, bed-covers, cushion-covers, glasses-covers, key-rings, penholders etc.
