This producers' group started at the outskirts of Khulna town. It is formed by 3 groups of women belonging to different areas of the town. The members of each group come to the centre for a few hours once a week, to learn new designs, to deliver the completed items, to meet each other. Every three months they have a general meeting.
They work with hand made jute rope and plait. Their items are macramé bags, sikas, scrolls, mats, hammocks, . . .

This centre is the referent of other 2 groups:
a. Fulbari. They prepare baby shoe and small embroidered bags.

b. Khalishpur. They produce nokshi kantha cards, embroidered bags of various shapes and sizes, embroidered book marks and book covers. The women do the main work at home or in small sub-centres where they have the chance to learn new designs. In their catalogue section they show all available designs.
