BaSE's motivating principles and vision (objectives)

- We try to provide continuity of orders for all the groups, so that the worker can have a source of income as steady as possible (if not abundant).
- We try to minimize the export expenses to have an even balance at the end of each year.
- We try to achieve transparency in pricing and transparency in organisational expenses, asking from the buyers the same transparency in placing order policy.
- We believe the producers groups have to be corresponsible in the export sector too, and they have to establish a personal relation with the Buyer organizations.

Paid staff of BaSE itself are 3 persons:
one in charge of the coordination between the producers' groups;
one in charge of the shipments;
one in charge of the store.
All other kind of works related to accounting, quality control, packing, etc. are accomplished at the producer's group level.
We consider these works as BaSE's duty only in the sense that BaSE gives training and supervision on these aspects to the various groups.
Mainly women members of the groups do all these works.

BaSE increases the responsibility of the producers' groups involving them in the export practical aspects (Quality Control, Packing and Administration accountability). In this way the producers' skill and education level, their capability of leadership and their self-consciousness is increasing, more job opportunities are created at the local level, and the export expenses are minimised.
